1966 Volkswagen Type 3 Squareback

This may be a moment of weakness.. but I have a LHD 1966 Square back that I only drove it a handful of times in the last 4 years. I love looking at it.. but its kinda in the way... I hoard things and need to cut down..

Owned by me since 2022

Rarely Used, just 1200 miles in 4 years!

The last time I started it was Volksworld Show in March 2026 - we did nearly 200 miles that weekend.

By no means perfect.

Its 60 years old

Solid underneath but tatty bodywork in places

Bodywork could do with love as you can see. It has had welding in the past.

Needs a loving home with a dry garage, I have too many cars and it ended up outside for way too much of the winter I should sell before it happens again.

Bodywork is pretty solid.

Heating works.

Starts, Stops, Steers.

Needs some one with time on their hands to fiddle with it.

Dash top is horrible.

Both front wings lower rear edge need repairs.

Drivers door needs a repair.

Its tatty in a few places but probably better than many.

US import.

It should probably be sold…. the hoarder in me says keep it.. I wont give it away and I think the price is sensible.

These photos were taken in march but i'm only listing this at the end of July... I'm going to say i've been busy!

Viewing in person is essential.

August 4th - Yesterday the car was run for 10 mins and moved around the garden. I may even find time to drive it!?
