We are pleased to offer you a true popular icon of British motoring: an Austin Mini Cooper Mk1 first registered in November 1967.
Presented in a very appealing red-on-white roof configuration, with a bordeaux interior, our example wins you over immediately with its charm, character and remarkably faithful nod to the world of 1960s Mini Coopers. Its delightfully sporty look is further enhanced by the long-range spotlights, stickers and harnesses inside the cabin—details that give it the unmistakable stance of a proper little rally bomb.
This Cooper is equipped with its original 998cc engine, with the engine numbers having been verified. Fed by two SU HS2 carburettors, this four-cylinder develops 56 horsepower and is paired with a four-speed manual gearbox. Our car also retains its Hydrolastic suspension—a defining technical feature of Coopers from this era—developed by Alex Moulton. Well known to discerning enthusiasts today, this particularity fully contributes to the car’s authenticity and appeal.
The equipment has been thoughtfully completed with a range of additions that enhance both its enjoyment and its presentation: Minilite-style aluminium wheels, Sparco sport seats with three-point harnesses, an LCB manifold, an inox stainless exhaust system, long-range lamps with covers, stainless bumpers and chrome mirrors.
