1962 Ford Anglia

I bought this car in 2011 via a friend of mine.

The owner inherited the car from his uncle in 1990.

His uncle was the first owner.

Many people wanted to buy the car, but all of them wanted to alter the car or 'retro' it.

I bought the car on the condition that it was restored to it's original condition.

It has never been welded.

I have a 1964 Thames 7CWT van which I purchased in 1992.

I decided then that I wanted to restore a saloon car, which I didn't have.

I spent 20 years collecting genuine new parts for the perfect restoration.

When this Anglia came up for sale, I had most of the parts that I needed.

All the seats are original, and the back seats were never really used as the owners uncle never had children.

I had a new carpet made from Aldridge trimming, as the original rubber mats were falling to pieces.

I have restored the car to a concourse condition with every nut and bolt being replaced.

I have spent well over £30, 000 on this car, and you really will not find a better one.

The engine has been rebuilt with new pistons and bearings.

All the engine parts are standard size as no boring or grinding was required.

Even the tyres are genuine Dunlop cross ply's.
