Austin Mini MK1 1293cc saloon. 1964.
( Cooper S look a like ) Original shell, four previous owners, 105, 000 miles, MOT'd 12/ 7/ 27, excellent condition overall, with a few minor inperfections, hence the cheaper price.
I've owned the car for 29 years.
1st owner had for 6 months.
2nd family owners had for 33 years in total, but the car was transferred into the sons name at some point, and he became the ' 3rd owner '.
4th owner = 1 year
Started life as a 'Mini Basic' 850, but is now a 1293cc. Engine is an A+ from a 1982 MG Metro, with a remote gearbox, NOT 'rod change' .
'homage' to the Cooper S, with lots of original period items ( see photo list )
The car also has many of its original items, handles, head lining, seats, seat belts, interior trim, headlights
( bulbs ), headlight rims ( brass rivets) front grill, rear lights, number plates, floors, boot floor. Etc.
Twenty years ago the car had new wings, front panel, bonnet, rear valance, o/ s inner & outer A panels, o/ s door skin.......( all heritage items )

1st owner was an Australian studying/ and touring Europe. The stickers in the rear window are from her trip to Italy/ Austria.
2nd / 3rd owners had the car for 33 years in total. He used to be a taxi driver, and did all his own servicing on the car

They also used to see relatives in Scotland and Wales in the car.. copies of original log book when it got stamped for road tax.
4th owner had the car for nearly a year, then returned Italy. At some point he replaced the 850 engine with the standard 1275 MG Metro engine.
