The logbook does not mention:

Curb weight, displacement, power (kW), noise level, engine speed or environmental impact. Of all Facellias, this is the only one equipped with a VOLVO engine, a B16 with two SU carburettors.

The Volvo engine was paired with a PAM (Pont-à-Mousson) gearbox.

This Facellia is the only one whose bonnet opens forwards.

It was equipped with raised door handles (a feature that would not appear on the other models until 1961).

It was also equipped with Megalux headlights (also absent from the other models until 1961).

It was a prototype: the FA A404 coupé; when registered, it became the A119.

On the 13th, CEO Jean Daninos and Jacques Persin personally travelled to Volvo in Gothenburg aboard this car, met Volvo's boss, Gunnar Engeliau, and conducted tests.

The first series of Facellia consisted of two-seater convertibles; this three-seater coupé sits between the two.

Of all Facellia cars, this is the first coupé.

The car remained at the factory for four to five years after the bankruptcy. The car is registered in the Facel Vega registry in France; it had previously disappeared.

It has an original logbook, dated 14 May 1960, and is also known to French road authorities.

Its registration certificate, very incomplete, indicates that it is a prototype.

The engine was overhauled two years ago.

The car is described in the French book dedicated to Facel Vega.

It is exhibited 30 kilometres south of Eindhoven.
