This superb Jaguar Mk II was delivered new to the United States. Imported into the Netherlands in 2006, it has been lovingly cared for by a single owner since 2014. Restored recently, it presents an impressive result: the bodywork features excellent panel gaps and a superb deep blue finish. The interior is beautifully trimmed, and the woodwork was lacquered during the restoration. The cabin exudes the luxury of the 1960s, with its supple leather, refined timberwork, a classic wood-veneer dashboard, and a magnificent Derrington steering wheel with a wooden rim. The deep blue tone highlights the elegant lines that make the Mk II one of the finest British saloons ever built. Chromed wire wheels and brightwork add extra polish to its luxurious stance. A refined detail: the “Coombs” sports wheel trims on the rear wheels.

Original wheel spats are also included. The original 3. 8-litre straight-six was the top-of-the-line engine, developing 220 bhp. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a smooth-shifting automatic transmission. Electric power steering EZ is a particularly welcome option. Among other sensible upgrades, we can mention an electric cooling fan, an alternator, and electronic ignition.

This superb Jaguar Mk II is offered with a complete history and a service file covering the last 15 years. The invoices clearly show the care and resources used to bring the car to its excellent current condition and to keep it to a high standard.
