Beschrijving

I am selling my MG B Roadster Mk1 from February 1967, right-hand drive, in a beautiful cream configuration with burgundy interior, wire wheels and wooden steering wheel.

This is one of the early generations of MGB, equipped with the 4-speed gearbox with 3 synchronised ratios and the Banjo-type rear axle, details appreciated by enthusiasts.

The car was imported from the United Kingdom by a professional specialising in MGs and Minis and currently has a French classic registration document.

It presents very well overall, with naturally some signs of use consistent with a motor car of nearly 60 years old. This is not a car presented as "concours condition", but a lovely classic full of charm, well-maintained and ready to drive.

A significant portion of the running gear has been recently overhauled:

conversion from Armstrong dampers to GAZ telescopic dampers;

new rear leaf springs;

rubber bushes replaced;

fasteners renewed;

rear bearings replaced, a known weak point on MGBs.

The original Armstrong dampers have been retained and can accompany the car.

It is also sold with a fairly comprehensive equipment package:

functional hood with no tears;

full tonneau cover;

rigid black hard-top;

wire wheels;

wooden steering wheel.

The combination of the cream bodywork and burgundy interior gives it considerable presence, whether with the hood up or down.
