1962 Triumph TR3 TR3B (1962)

1962 Triumph TR3

This outstanding example has benefited from an extensive restoration carried out some years ago, exceptionally well documented by a comprehensive photographic record. The photographs allow one to follow the various stages of the restoration, including complete bare-metal work on the bodywork and a frame-off restoration, with full separation of the body and chassis.

The vehicle presents itself today in excellent overall condition and possesses considerable charm, particularly thanks to its small additional windscreen deflectors which lend it genuine sporting appeal and a decidedly 'racing' look.

A few minor items remain to be attended to, notably the fuel gauge, the headlight electrical circuit and, possibly, battery replacement. The owner has committed, however, to having these various points inspected and rectified before delivery of the vehicle to its future purchaser.

Aside from these few details, this is a truly fine motor car, a pleasure to present and accompanied by a particularly interesting photographic history documenting its restoration.

A metal hard-top is also available. This is not included in the advertised sale price of the vehicle and may be the subject of separate discussion with the interested purchaser.
