For sale is a magnificent Mercedes-Benz 220 SE Ponton Coupé W128, one of the most elegant and sought-after coupés from Mercedes-Benz production in the 1950s and 1960s.

This example, finished in the captivating grey with original red leather interior, is equipped with the prestigious 120 bhp engine with mechanical fuel injection and presents itself in excellent condition, ready to be used immediately without any work required.

Owned by me for approximately 10 years, it has always been maintained with great care and used exclusively for pleasant Sunday drives and participation in gatherings and events dedicated to classic cars.

Approximately six years ago it underwent an important and thorough conservation and mechanical restoration, which included:

Complete disassembly of the vehicle

Full respray

Renewal of all chrome trim

Restoration of wooden trim

Replacement and renewal of the headlining

Complete mechanical overhaul

The upholstery is still the original red leather, preserved with extreme attention and in truly remarkable condition, helping to maintain the authentic charm of the vehicle unaltered.

Originally delivered in the United States, it was subsequently imported to Italy in 2022.

For sale is a beautiful Mercedes-Benz 220 SE Ponton Coupé (W128) from 1960, one of the most elegant and sought-after Mercedes coupés of the late 1950s and early 1960s.

The vehicle presents itself in the attractive grey colour combination with red leather trim and is equipped with the renowned 120 bhp engine with mechanical fuel injection. The car is in excellent condition, mechanically sound and ready to drive immediately, without any work required.

Owned by me for around 10 years, the vehicle has always been maintained with the greatest care and used exclusively for Sunday drives as well as participation in classic car meetings and events.
