A beautifully restored 1960 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL Roadster in outstanding condition, complete with its original factory hardtop, storage frame and extensive history file.

Originally discovered in Germany as a genuine barn find, the car was imported into the UK and underwent a meticulous long-term restoration by respected classic car specialists. Official Mercedes-Benz documentation confirms a build date of 21 March 1960.

The restoration included a complete engine rebuild, crankshaft and cylinder head work, engine re-bore, radiator re-core, suspension overhaul, electrical rebuild, new front floors and exhaust components, extensive body restoration and professionally re-chromed brightwork.

The interior has also been carefully restored, while retaining the original leather seating.

Thousands of pounds have been invested over approximately 15 years, with invoices and supporting documentation available.
