1965 Porsche 912 E

For sale, authentic Porsche 912 Coupé "Short Wheelbase" (SWB) from July/ August 1965.

This is one of the very first models from the first production year (Karmann bodywork).

Genuine barn find imported from the United States.

Full restoration project to be undertaken from scratch. The bodyshell exhibits structural and perforating corrosion (missing floors, sills, spare wheel tray and windscreen aperture).

The car has retained its original panel gaps.

Chassis (Original cold-stamped on bodyshell): 4539**

Original engine (Matching Numbers): No. * 7410*** (Original 1. 6L flat-four engine, period-correct configuration with original "Export US" heating system and original air filters).

The engine is complete with all ancillaries but is currently seized/ stuck due to time.

Included items: Sold with its collection of original dismantled components visible in the photos (black leatherette seat frames, rear bumper with its chromium-plated buffers, original front light clusters and indicators, door handles, aluminium trim strips, flexible windscreen washer reservoir, etc.).

Documentation / Administration: Sold with its original US Title (ideal for historical traceability) AND its official French customs certificate form 846A. All taxes and customs duties have been fully paid. The file is 100% in order to proceed with the FFVE for obtaining a classic vehicle registration document.
