TRIUMPH TR4 IRS

First registered 08 Dec 1967 – 13, 696 miles (5-digit odometer)

This lovely Triumph TR4 IRS has belonged for 26 years to an eclectic and voracious collector who has used it very sparingly, aside from a participation in the 4th edition of the Rallye des Gazelles in 2003.

Car in perfectly working order and entirely complete with no significant cosmetic defects. No apparent or structural corrosion. The upholstery, carpets, hood, hood cover and tonneau cover would benefit from a thorough clean.

Recent engine and clutch overhaul.

The acquisition and use of this iconic British motor can be approached from several angles:

- A straightforward mechanical refresh to ensure reliability whilst addressing the few minor points flagged by a recent MOT.

- A suitable "preparation" to make it eligible for historic rallies without touching the cosmetics.

- A more comprehensive restoration with a larger budget but which in any case would not exceed the current valuation of a concours-condition example (approximately €35, 000)

Vehicle on consignment, sold without warranty, at our premises Tuesday to Saturday 9:00 / 12:00 – 14:00 / 19:00. Sunday, Monday and bank holidays by appointment.
