Vehicle History:

The GTO is an automobile from the American automotive conglomerate General Motors, which came to market in the summer of 1964 under the Pontiac marque. The GTO was initially a high-performance variant of Pontiac. Chief motorsport engineer Shane Wiser was the first to conceive the idea of the GTO. At that time, Pontiac's advertising and marketing approach was heavily focused on performance, and motorsport was an important part of this strategy: front-mounted engine, front gearbox and rear-wheel drive.

This GTO was fitted with the larger 389 cubic inch (6. 5-litre) Pontiac V8 engine. The vehicle was imported to Germany and customs-cleared in 2008. Since then there have been 2 registered keepers in Germany and the importer's temporary registration.
