1962 Peugeot 403

BORDEAUX VINTAGE CARS is offering for sale this 1963 Peugeot 403 B7, a single-owner family car that is now in need of restoration.

An authentic 403 with a single ownership history, kept within the same family since 1963, which now deserves a restoration to get back on the road after all these years.

Having remained with the same family since its origin, this 403 represents an interesting restoration project, with a known history and genuine authenticity.

The car has been left in its original state and displays a lovely patina.

The bodywork will naturally require restoration, but the chassis is in good condition and shows no perforating rust, which is an excellent starting point for this type of project.

The red interior is still in place and relatively well preserved for its age, with its bench seats, dashboard and period-correct equipment.

The odometer reads 79, 326 km.

Given that it is a 5-digit counter, the mileage cannot naturally be certified, but in light of the vehicle's family history, we believe the odometer has not completed a full rotation.

On the mechanical side, an attempt to start the engine was made in our workshop without success. The engine is seized and will need to be opened to establish precisely what work is required.

The car is sold with its grille, as well as the elements and parts present with the vehicle.
