1966 Pontiac Bonneville

PONTIAC BONNEVILLE V8 6. 4L FROM 1966

A beautiful American motor car with an instantly recognisable silhouette.

Designed by General Motors' styling teams during the Bill Mitchell era, the 1966 Pontiac Bonneville embodies the American style of the 1960s.

Produced at the Linden factory in New Jersey in 1966, this example is a 4-door hardtop with no centre pillar. Its long lines and white vinyl roof give it a striking presence.

It is equipped with a 389 cubic inch V8 engine of 6. 4 litres, paired with a three-speed automatic gearbox.

Its history includes American documentation tracing its time in New Jersey, as well as its arrival and maintenance in France in 2021.

These records notably mention an oil change, engine tune-up, replacement of the voltage regulator, suspension bushes and front and rear shock absorbers.

The interior trim has been restored, and the engine bay has also undergone restoration work. The vinyl roof is in excellent condition and the paintwork is original but presents well for a car celebrating its 60th anniversary this year.

The car is registered on a classic vehicle registration document.

The five-digit odometer currently reads 6, 842 miles (not guaranteed).
