1965 Vauxhall Viva HA Deluxe

There is no such thing as a brand new 61 year old car but if there was my Viva would be it. Excellent condition inside and out, an original as it left the factory look but with a subtle nod towards safety, front servo assisted disc brakes, electronic ignition, electric screen wash, alternator conversion, fog lights. Starts first time with no bangs, smoke or suspect noises. As far as I can see it's never been welded. Been to a few shows over the last couple of years, never misses a beat and keeps up in normal traffic. Don't often see these on the road or at shows. Always a great conversation starter. A good honest proper classic.

Back in the 60's as a teenager we had some pretty lousy rot box car's, one day in 1968 my dad said come on lad I want to show what I've bought. It was a pillar box red 1964 Viva HA, it was like sitting in a limo compared with the usual junk I'd been used to. Hence, my love affair with the HA, never forgot that moment, owned a few over the years but this is the best.
