1968 TVR Vixen Series 2 1600cc - 4 speed manual

Finished in Sarah Yellow with Black Leather Sports Seating c/ w Bottle Green Piping, Bottle Green Dash and Door Cards, Black Carpeting.

First registered in November 1968 only 1 month after the official launch of the series 2 – this example features some transitional features and carries the pretty series 1 bonnet and dash as delivered from the factory. Only 438 TVR Vixen Series 2’s were produced with sold overseas making this is a rare example on UK roads.

Fully restored as a labour of love over a 6 year period and returned to its factory original colour of yellow this example was constructed on a New Chassis – the extensive restoration was photographically recorded with all details on file, restoration works were completed in 2014 and since this time it has resided in private collections covering less than 3, 000 careful miles.

More recently it has been fitted with new Michelin XZX period style tyres and has just received a full service including all oils and fluids & has been converted to electronic ignition to offer this as a turn key reliable classic.

On the road the Vixen drives beautifully with a remarkable turn of place demonstrating just how these cars were back in period.

Whilst this example has only been used as a road car it has been rebuilt with a fitted rear roll bar, Sparco Harnesses, a beautiful genuine Motalita period steering wheel, Leather upholstered bucket seats and white race roundels all of which add to the theatre this example provides.

Historic Vehicle Registered so MOT & Tax exempt but Current MOT ( Without Advisories ) runs to August 2027
