1960 Morgan 4/4

Morgan 4/ 4 1500 2 seater1960.

Unfortunately, I have to let the Morgan go for medical reasons.

Runs and drives and is a good solid example. The whole interior has been renewed recently as has the hood and side screens, there is a newish side screen bag too. The chassis appears to be in good condition and structurally sound.

The bodywork is in good health and the doors fit and close well. The engine sounds good and starts easily. it has a 4 speed gearbox . The exterior is in good condition but with a few small areas of surface scabs. The usual Morgan front wings top support around the sidelights areas need attention but still look OK. A new alternator has replaced the dynamo and is working well. The under - bonnet area would benefit from a good clean and tidying. I wanted to check out the brakes , electrics and fit a good fuse box before road use but I am finding it physically difficult hence I am unable to offer a road test. I have had the engine running up to operating temperature on one of the hottest days this year without drama.

The steering seems pretty good (light!).

The mileage says 20995 but I doubt that is correct.

The previous owner had the car since 2007 and used it up until I bought the car, there have been 7 previous owners. The V5c is in my name.

I think the car is in good condition and I would have liked to check things out before use but my medical issues are forcing the sale.
