1968 MG C-Type

Purchased in June 2023 with little historic paperwork. In my ownership it has been steadily improved. In July 2024 full engine service with tappets adjusted, engine compression good, renewed plugs , contact points, condenser, distributor cap, ignition coil, adjusted timing, engine flushed new oil and air filter and new fuel pressure filter and housing and bowl . Both carbs reconditioned and polished by Burlen . In March 2025 front brakes overhauled with both front rubber brake lines to caliper replaced and new front brake pads fitted . In March 2025 new slave cylinder fitted. In May 2025 repairs to rusted parts of body work carried out and repainted roof, front wings above chrome trim by professional workshops cost approximately 4000 pounds . In July 2025 new track rod ends and new front gaz dampers fitted. Rear suspension lever dampers converted to gaz telescopic type and new leaf springs fitted with new bushes. Reason for sale is Triumph Stag acquired and haven't the room

Is a reliable car with nice tight steering and fun to drive. Starts every time. If I was keeping the car the next improvements I would make would be to renew front suspension bushes tidy up the one rust spot missed on May 2025 respray
