Let’s get straight to the good bit. This 1966 Amazon has incredibly had only ONE gentleman owner from new! He bought it because his Riley 1. 5 was rusting. On day one he protected the chassis and has cared for it like a family member ever since. The chassis must be seen to be believed. This isn’t fresh under seal to hide any nasties, it has been like this for sixty years! Bring your hammer.

The patina on the car interior and the engine bay is to die for. The exterior has had some paint in the past and there are signs of micro blistering. There are also a couple of spots of superficial surface rust due to the paint job, but literally zero areas of concern. The arches, inner wings, sills, floor, boot, chassis are ALL solid.

The car was parked in his garage in 1984 and in 2020 had £6, 000 worth of recommission work. In it’s current from I would call it one of the best daily driving classic cars you could buy. Should you wish to throw a few pounds on a paint job and some seat covers, you’ll have an instant show winner. Even the original floor mats are in fantastic shape.

The owner is a true car guy and uprated the motor to a B18b from a 123GT which increased horsepower to 115bhp. It even has an original 123GT rev counter installed. Additionally, the car also comes with it’s original matching numbers engine and gearbox.

I doubt there’s another ZERO previous owner Amazon available on the open market anywhere else right now and I’m sure I’ll never find another car like this again.
