This magnificent Triumph TR4 is finished in an elegant black livery, with a black body, black imitation-leather interior and matching black carpeting.

The car has been superbly resprayed, the interior has been refurbished and its overall condition is excellent. It’s a real pleasure to drive, has been regularly maintained, shows no signs of corrosion and is fitted with a brand-new battery. The TR4 features many sought-after extras, including Overdrive—along with chromed wire wheels, a bright lacquered wooden dashboard and a Moto-Lita sports steering wheel with a wooden rim (the original wheel is included).

It’s also equipped with chromed door mirrors, two-point seatbelts, an era Blaupunkt radio, power-assisted brakes and an electric cooling fan.

The car is supplied with a white hood (in good condition), a white removable hard-top and a black tonneau cover. The Triumph TR4 is one of the most desirable British roadsters of its era. Designed by Italian master designer Giovanni Michelotti, it combined a distinctive look with robust mechanicals.

Its long-stroke 2. 1-litre four-cylinder engine produced 105 bhp, giving the TR4 remarkable performance for its class.

This model enjoyed considerable success in 1960s American sports car competitions, notably winning the 1965 SCCA C-Production national championship. It also took part in major European rallies such as the Tulip Rally 1962/ 63, the Alpine Rally 1962/ 63, the Liège–Sofia–Liège Marathon 1962/ 63 and the RAC Rally 1962/ 63.
