Showing 66, 530 miles, this wonderful VW underwent a comprehensive restoration some years ago, including an extensive interior restoration and upgrade. The result is a Microbus that still presents beautifully both inside and out and attracts attention virtually everywhere it goes.

MECHANICALLY

She starts, runs and drives well, with a strong gearbox which was rebuilt some years ago. A new clutch was also fitted.

Naturally, this is a 1961 vehicle and therefore there are some age-related marks and imperfections. We would much rather describe the vehicle accurately than pretend a classic of this age is absolutely flawless. Overall, however, she presents extremely well indeed and has tremendous road presence.

The interior is one of the highlights of the vehicle, with its contrasting leather trim and minibus-style seating arrangement creating a fantastic sociable cabin.
