1986 Mitsubishi Pajero

Cet impressionnant Mitsubishi Pajero Paris-Dakar Ex Works de 1986 est un véhicule tout terrain légendaire avec un historique très intéressant. En effet il a participé deux fois au célèbre Rallye Paris-Alger-Dakar.

En 1987, sous le numéro #309 avec comme équipage le japonais Kenjiro Shinozuka et le français Jean-Claude Morellet dit "Fenouil", il est arrivé sur le podium en troisième position.

Puis en 1988 sous le numéro #215 avec comme équipage le japonais Kenjiro Shinozuka et le franco–andorran Henri Magne, il a terminé sur le podium en deuxième position, juste derrière la Peugeot 205 T16 des finlandais J. Kankkunen et J. Piironen.

Ce véhicule est sorti des usines Mitsubishi spécialement préparé pour affronter les rigueurs et les conditions difficiles de cette course éprouvante. Cette Mitsubishi de 1650 kg est dotée d’un moteur 2.6L puissant et résistant, offrant une performance exceptionnelle aussi bien sur les routes que dans les terrains accidentés.

This impressive 1986 Mitsubishi Pajero Paris-Dakar Ex Works is a legendary off-road vehicle with a very interesting history. It has competed twice in the famous Paris-Algiers-Dakar Rally.

In 1987, under number #309 with Japanese driver Kenjiro Shinozuka and French driver Jean-Claude Morellet, known as "Fenouil", it finished third on the podium.

Then in 1988, with the number #215 and a crew consisting of Kenjiro Shinozuka from Japan and Henri Magne from France and Andorra, it finished second on the podium, just behind the Peugeot 205 T16 driven by J. Kankkunen and J. Piironen from Finland.

This vehicle left the Mitsubishi factory specially prepared to face the rigours and difficult conditions of this gruelling race. This 1650 kg Mitsubishi is equipped with a powerful and durable 2.6L engine, offering exceptional performance both on the road and in rough terrain.

Its solid and robust bodywork gives it great endurance and excellent off-road capability.

This factory Pajero is a unique, completely original vehicle in its original condition.
