Vehicle history:

This E-Type was completely restored by a specialist workshop from 2018 through to December 2025. The restoration is very extensive and is documented with numerous photographs. The car was rebuilt from the ground up with a constant focus on refurbishing original parts wherever possible. All work was carried out by a specialist workshop that specialises in restoring Jaguar E-Types. In excess of €40, 000 has been invested purely in acquiring all missing parts or parts that could no longer be saved. All invoices for every newly purchased component are available, as are the invoices from specialist trades (complete engine rebuild, respray, etc.). Countless man-hours have gone into renewing the car in full. Once the restoration was completed in December 2025, better weather was needed to run in the engine. To date, since the spring of this year, the E-Type has already covered around 500 km, gently driven in good weather. It has a German H registration with new MOT/ TÜV. In addition, several technical improvements have been incorporated during the restoration, such as fitting a fully rebuilt gearbox from the 4. 2-litre variant of the E-Type first series, to enable gear changes without any noise. A temperature-controlled auxiliary fan has also been installed. The steering wheel has a slightly smaller diameter, so that even larger drivers have comfortable room. Furthermore, a stainless-steel exhaust manifold has been fitted together with a “Big Bore” exhaust system. This has a slightly larger diameter and therefore helps the exhaust gases flow through more quickly. In addition, a high-performance starter motor and a high-output alternator have been fitted. This sought-after E-Type first series is ready to go for the next outing.
