1963 Bristol 407 Automatic

Finished in metallic blue with a complementary blue interior, wood dashboard and door cappings, this Bristol 407 has been meticulously maintained throughout her life. Her last owner owned her for over 20 years.

Richard Hackett describes her as the best 407 he has ever driven.

The car is fitted with a three-speed automatic gearbox, operated by the distinctive dashboard push-button selector.

Chassis 407/ 6014 was dispatched from the factory on 23 November 1963 to Anthony Crook Motors Ltd and first registered on 20 March 1964. Factory documentation and the original service record accompany the car. Originally specified in Silver Grey and Cambridge Grey with Lovatt upholstery, she is now presented in the blue combination shown.

Recent servicing and recommissioning by Keller Auto Restoration included an engine oil and filter change, new spark plugs and contact breaker points, inspection and fluid checks, and adjustment of the gearbox kick-down mechanism. Further work included repairs to the passenger door handle and lighting, fitting correct period-style wiper blades, replacement under-bonnet insulation and attention to the brake-fluid warning system.

Recorded mileage is 67, 346 miles. As with all our classic cars of this age, the mileage is not warranted.

She will be supplied with 12 months’ MOT.
