1964 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 3.8 FHC UK matching numbers

Original UK supplied series 1 3. 8 fhc in Opalescent Maroon with dark blue interior. Restored in 2014-16, this is a matching numbers car that I’ve owned for 5 years and have carried out further improvements and maintenance at a cost of £45000, with a thick folder of receipts. This work includes:

* complete new interior in dark blue Connolly Vaumol leather by Lee Drake Auto Trim (top etype retrimming specialists) at a cost of £9000.

* upgraded brakes - Fosseway 4pot aluminium front, Fosseway aluminium pistons on refurbished rear calipers

* Independent rear suspension (IRS) refurb by e type specialists Moss Jaguar in Apr 26 at a cost of £6000

* fully rewired by Classic Coachbuilders

* new Vredestein tyres on correct MWS curly hub wire wheels

* Marston copy rad by Radtec, CoolCat fan, silicon hoses

* Dynamator with 123 ignition and upgraded Lucas coil

* New exhaust

* aluminium brake and clutch reservoirs ( the plastic ones leak!)

* Blaupunkt retro style radio with bluetooth

* serviced, wiper motor rebuilt and all oils changed Jun 26

* MOT with no advisories to Jun 27
