1963 Rover P4

1963 Rover 95

First registered to a Mr David Harold Williams from Surrey on 5th June 1963 this duo green Rover has survived amazingly well and is in lovely condition.

The original buff log book shows that it changed hands 6 times until 1975.

The car runs and drives really well and the straight 6 engine is quiet and powerful.

Showing just 24500 miles it is impossible to say if this is genuine. Judging by the interior and the way it drives it could well be correct.

The interior is exceptional and everything works properly. There is a full original toolkit under the passenger dashboard.

The brakes have just been overhauled and it has had 4 new cross-ply tyres fitted recently.

Underneath is totally solid and the car had been well waxoyled. It still has the leather covers over the rear leaf springs.

The bodywork is extremely solid. The doors all shut nicely and all the locks work.

The paintwork is old and lovely and has an amazing patina. There are a few areas where it has been polished through to the red oxide and a few surface rust spots but this just adds to this cars charm and it would be an absolute shame to paint it.

The chrome work is good.

The car comes with a lot of history including the original log book, the original Rover owner's instruction manual and a mountain of paperwork showing the work it's had over the years.

There is a spare set of later hub caps which are original to the car but I prefer the earlier ones that are on it.
