Peter Sellers 1960 Bentley Continental Chinese eye Droptop

Must the most beautiful classic car in the world & one of the most famous, being Peter Sellers' car whilst married to Britt Ekland in the 1960's• Hence the fitment of deep dark Sun-visors to stop the paparatzi flashes. Along with other secret devices Mr Sellers had fitted. 1 of just 50 S2 Bentley Continental Droptops made in right-hand drive. Purchased by Peter Sellers in 1961, retained by The Pink Panther until 1966. Mr Sellers had the Bentley looked after by Jack Barclay during his tenure, with delivery back and forth to local Film Studios as per each of the many detailed Invoices To Mr Sellers, included in service book pack (many in large history file)

Jack Barclay undertook a series of modifications such as Quad Headlamp (Chinese Eye) & the large ‘smoke' privacy sun visors' to hide Brit from the Cameras, Upgrade horns attached to headlamps, with hidden switches (very 007)

It has only covered 42 thousand miles from new (documented) and has recently been wonderfully restored, with the latest Bentley paint being "Camel by Mulliner", Champagne super-soft leather and new deep cream Wilton carpets throughout. Topped off with a stunning new, beautifully contrasting Brown Moirhair Electric Roof. Very original, with original radio and electric aerial. Mechanically, she is in perfect order and drives perfectly, with a new, fitted electronic ignition that makes her purr like a new car, delivering more than enough power through a very smooth automatic gearbox.
