1 of 36 original 3. 8 S Roadsters

Champion of Champions, 2010 NEC Classic Motor Show

In May 1957, Jaguar launched the final version of its successful "XK" series, the XK150. The model was a significant improvement over its predecessors.

The most important upgrade was the introduction of disc brakes on all four wheels – the first production vehicle ever to have this feature.

Towards the end of production, the XK150 was also available as an open two-seater (OTS) with a more powerful 3. 8-liter engine.

As the "3. 8 S", the Jaguar delivers an impressive 269 hp and effortlessly reaches speeds of over 200 km/ h. The "S" models also came standard with overdrive.

Only 36 of these ultimate versions of the XK series were ever built. This makes the Jaguar XK150 3. 8 S OTS one of the most sought-after models of the entire marque.

Our car was produced at the end of 1959 and delivered as a new car in London.

We have the Jaguar Heritage Certificate. Both the colour scheme, with cream white paint and red interior, and the engine, body, and transmission numbers match the delivery information.

The restoration took place between 2006 and 2007 and was carried out in England by the Jaguar specialist JD Classics to a first-class standard.

The restoration invoices, amounting to approximately £300, 000, are available, as is detailed photographic documentation of the work.

In 2010, our XK150 was named “Champion of Champions” at the NEC Classic Motor Show in Birmingham – England’s largest and most important classic car show.

The rare XK has been in Switzerland since 2014 and is registered here as a veteran vehicle.

The British V5C document and a FIVA passport are also available.
