1958 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Type 750/101

A great example of the 750 transition model.

Built in 1958, this is a MY1959 car.

This is a matching numbers car.

Used regularly, it runs and handles beautifully. Has a FIVA historic certificate which works as an MOT in Portugal.

The body and interior were restored 40 years ago, and remain in very good condition. There is absolutely no rust, although the paint does show its age on some points.

The body was originally finished in "Bianco Gardenia", but is now in "Lead Grey", an original color introduced in the 29th of July 1958.

The previous owner, carried out a full mechanical restoration, which included a lot of new parts, namely a N. O. S. crankshaft.

Engine, brakes, transmission and cooling were all compreensively redone.

The car has all of the original trimwork and the original light lenses.

It has a period AM Blaupunkt radio.

It seats on Vredestein Classic tyres.

There's a lot of documents and invoices regarding the parts and work done.

The car is ready to be test-driven at any moment.

Sold originally in Portugal, it was first registered to the famous Alfa Romeo and Ferrari Portuguese dealer João Gaspar, in March the 19th, 1959 and subsequently registered to its first lady owner Maria Gabriela Mendes Vaz Figueiredo in April 4th, the same year.

It is currently with its 8th owner and sold directly through private hands.

This is a Giulietta Sprint for someone who really intends to use it.

It starts "on the button", runs smoothly and pulls cleanly from lower revs up to the top.

The steering is linear and tight and the shifting is smooth and precise. The drum brakes are totally up to the task.

I've driven several Giuliettas that were beautifully restored but didn't even come close to this one in terms of the driving experience.

This car is ready to be enjoyed and driven hard in total confidence.

This is a patinated car, but showing an incredible condition considering it was cosmetically restored over 40 years ago. This Giulietta shows its age in a charming and dignified way.
