1959 Austin A 35 incl spares may p/x or swap

This car was subject to a £6000 restoration back in 2016 by the previous owner - body work done , mechanics and engine overhauled and converted to unleaded so I was informed. It needed a number of jobs done to get it on the road - loads of paperwork BTW: Since m original listing the carb and fuel system have been rebuilt and the car now runs, as it should. The clutch should be freed off in he next few days and it will then move under it's own steam.

The two front seats are being built with all new covers , foam etc, the next job will be the

make up and fit the door cards - all materials supplied - see photo's

refit the indicator switch - new one supplied

general service and check over - all parts supplied

fit horn

fit door stays - supplied

sort out paintwork - see photo's

sort out rust bubbles on boot lid and bonnet and scuttle

Carpets could do with re-dying to restore their colour - all good but look a bit faded

I now have some help so the work is progressing well. Please see the photo's , message me with any questions . I also have a cache of useful spares as well some of which are included in the sale. Please note that this is not a "project car" - it's more of a few weekends tinkering and fettling

The body seems very good from the resto work done I cannot see any additional welding to be done - there are loads of invoices, manuals "Sidelight" magazines etc. New plugs installed - tappets done . There is some blistering on the roof , the mileage showing on the speedo is 63465 - I only guessed at the time of submitting the advert as it was late in the day - No idea if it is correct or not - as far as I can see, there are no nasties or surprises

I have added some more photos - The car has not been used for several years and the underneath has dirt and surface rust but that's about all and only to be expected

This has the basis of becoming a really nice little car when finished and the work involved to do so is not difficult - I had rather lost interest but, I have t say that my enthusiasm for the car has been re-kindled so I might just pull the ad, finish off the jobs and enjoy the car.

All parts that are necessary to get the car on he road will be included in the sale together with some of the spares I have collected . A visit to look at the car is highly recommended - I have tried to describe it fairly. Email any questions . Can do £2500 including, of course , the bits it needs but less the additional spares cache
