HERE WE HAVE A 1959 MORRIS MINOR CONVERTIBLE, ITS BEEN IN LONG TIME STORAGE, AND NEEDS WORK, BUT ITS SOLID IN ALL THE RIGHT PLACES, ITS ALSO MOT AND TAX EXEMPT, IT DOES RUN AND DRIVE , BUT REAR DRIVERSIDE BRAKE IS BINDING, IT CAN BE DRIVEN ON TO A TRAILER, AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PHOTOS ITS NEEDING SOME ATTENTION, I HAVE A VIDEO WHICH SHOWS THE TRUE CONDITION OF THE CAR, WHICH I CAN SEND VIA WHATTSAPP, PS THE LAST PHOTO OF THE PASSENGER REAR WHEEL ARCH AREA, WAS MY FAULT I CAUGHT IT ON THE BUMPER OF ANOTHER CAR, ANY QUESTION PLEASE ASK, I DONT HAVE A V5 AS SUCH , BUT I DO HAVE AN OLD ONE, IT COMES WITH LARGE FOLDER OF PAPERWORK, I HAVE HPI CHECK RESULTS , IVE HAD THE REGISTRATION VALUED. Strengthening Plates: Genuine convertibles feature spot-welded strengthening plates at the base of the dashboard and on the A-post (where the door hinges are located). IT HAS THESE SEE PHOTOS.

Lack of Interior Lights: Factory convertibles do not have interior courtesy light switches on the A-post. SEE PHOTOS . Open the boot and feel along the underside of the lip behind the back shelf where the saloon roof would be spot welded on. If you can feel a line of bumps, ie spotwelds then that bodyshell started life as a saloon. If its smooth its never had a roof welded on. SEE PHOTOS OF THIS AREA, WHICH IS SMOOTH.
