1958 Ford Consul

An excellent example of a MK 2 Consul. It comes with a really good documented provenance. The original owner lived in Watford the vehicle then passed to his daughter. At this time the log book showed the vehicle as still being registered at the original owner's address. Later the daughter moved to Kent and it was registered at an address near Sandwich. The daughter had a surname change but stayed living at the same address near sandwich.

In the file there is the original log book and the subsequent V5 registration document.

The original Castrol service books showing services from 20/ 08/ 1958 at 300 miles to 24/ 03/ 1969 at 65014 miles.

There are MOT's from 1969 at 60792 miles through to 1989 at 14813 ( 114813 ) miles

The MOT's from 1972 to 1987 and MOT work 1989 only show small increases. This is the time when the daughter took over ownership of the car.

During this period there are numerous receipts for services and other works including a receipt for an engine recon dated 2/ 02/ 1984 at 11563 ( 111563 ) miles.

From 1989 through to 2007 there are no MOT's. At some time during this period the car underwent a major restoration. There is a receipt for £28, 881, 50 for this work.
