1956 Land Rover Series 1

Reluctant sale of our grand example of a 1956 Landrover Series I 88'. Fully restored in 2013, it has had light use over the past 13 years, mostly spending it's days in our garage or out and about at car shows. A real head turner, this is sure to put a smile on your face :). Includes original instruction manual, workshop manual, a large historical document on the vehicle and a CD-ROM of pictures of it during its restoration.

The Landrover series I was an instrumental vehicle in redefining the way we travelled across harsh terrain. We have had multiple Landrovers over the years, such as a IIA, a II and a more modern Defender, and yet none can put a smile on your face or demonstrate as much character and yet simplicity as our trusty old Series I. It is undeniably more bulletproof, resilient and lovable than any modern offroader (yet maybe a touch less comfortable!)

As mentioned above, previously restored in 2013 (with photographic evidence) and garage kept with light use in the summer months. Comes with a complete canvas top. The previous owner had told us that it's ex-RAF, but we have no proof of that.
