I am offering for sale my 1958 Pontiac Star Chief, 4-door hardtop model with a 370 cu in (6. 1 L) V8 engine and automatic transmission.

The vehicle has undergone a complete restoration:

Full vehicle disassembly:

Chassis, bodywork, rear axle and front suspension stripped, treated with epoxy primer and repainted.

Underbody and wheel arch interiors protected (stone chip and rust protection).

Engine completely stripped down and rebuilt by a professional.

Automatic transmission overhauled.

Interior fully restored by a professional:

Bench seats, trim, headlining, carpets and insulation.

Braking system completely renewed:

Master cylinder, wheel cylinders, drums, shoes and complete circuit.

Fuel tank treated with Restom and fuel circuit replaced.

Four new shock absorbers, four whitewall tyres in excellent condition. Entire wiring loom professionally rewired.

New windscreen.

Power steering, power-assisted braking.

The chrome trim is original. It has been fully polished and shows only minor pitting consistent with its age.
