Beschrijving
The MG TD is a classic British sports car produced from 1950 to 1953, featuring a 1, 250 cc XPAG engine, independent front suspension from the MG Y type, and a body style derived from the earlier TC. 29, 000 TDs were produced with 24, 000 for the US and only 1, 656 for the UK market. The new body was 5 inches longer and 1 inch wider than the previous TC.
Included in the pictures is pre-restoration photo which illustrates how much of this car is comprised of new parts including full interior, seats, dash, carpets, wheels, tyres and hood.
As a California import, the car is rust free and very solid, I have included pictures of the chassis and underneath of the car in the photos.
Also included is a period toolkit, workshop manual and even a weird 12v torch which plugs into a socket on the dashboard.
The only impairment the car suffers from is less than perfect paint job. It is a very useable classic and very presentable, however it is definitely not a show car.
The milage, obviously, is not correct.
This MG T- Type D was imported from California in 2018 and comprehensively restored prior to the current owner buying it earlier this year.
