1956 Jaguar XK140 MC Fixed Head Coupe: Factory Overdrive and Matching Numbers

This 1956 Jaguar XK140 MC Fixed Head Coupe with factory overdrive is a matching numbers example that's been patiently awaiting a well-deserved, straightforward restoration. Red with grey interior. A highly original example just out of long-term enthusiast ownership. It is not currently running because it has been off the road and in storage for several years. This Jaguar is among the desirable Special Equipment or “SE” models, as denoted by the “S” prefix to the chassis number. This example was also fitted with the optional C-Type cylinder head, which increased engine power. Cars equipped with both the SE package and C-Type head were referred to as the “MC” model in the US. On top of all that, this car was fitted with highly sought-after factory overdrive. Given its ideal factory specification, this XK140 MC represents a very special opportunity for its next lucky owner.
