1953 Bentley R-Type

This classic 1953 Bentley R-Type is presented in an eye-catching Dark and Light Blue exterior colour scheme with a grey vinyl interior. The car has been enjoyed on several Bentley owner’s club events and has been improved during its current ownership; benefitting from a service and some refurbishment to the brakes and fuel system when purchased.

Wanting some care and attention at the point of the current owner’s acquisition, the car received the necessary refurbishment to bring it to the point of reliable usability for reasonably regular social event use. Accompanying documents include copies of original bill of sale, transfer to the second owner in 1958, Car or Chassis Specification – Work Instruction and current V5 document.

This is an ideal car for the enthusiast who wants to improve or restore whilst being able to make use of the car.

We have recently carried out structural repairs and welding, replacing the rear chassis mountings, carry out repairs to the rear inner arches and boot floor.
