1955 SUNBEAM TALBOT SUPREME MARK III DROP HEAD - JUST LOVELY

BY THE time the Sunbeam Talbot reached the stage of becoming the Mark III, the name Talbot was actually officially dropped and the car became known by two names funnily enough - either simply the Sunbeam Mark III or the new Sunbeam Supreme which is the name displayed on the car's radiator grille.

This is the much rarer drop head coupe and was registered in July 1955. It would have been one of the later models to be built as production of the convertible ceased in 1955.

A lovely example with a brand new red hood, the vehicle has been recently painted and is in super condition. The V5 states just 2 former keepers and she was with her last owner for 45 years!

These Sunbeams have a tank-like chassis and this fine old girl is no exception. Her leather interior is original and thus 71-years-old but, without question, it would respond hugely to a re-furb with the correct leather cleaning products.

Such a stylish and pretty car. 4 speed column change and, being a Mark III, it features the integral rev counter in the centre of the dash.
