Vehicle History:

On 21 June 1955, this 356 was delivered to Porsche by Reutter with Cabriolet body number 60860. The car was finished in Black R501 with wine-red Rosanil 2178 leather. Following completion, the vehicle went to the USA. In 1995, the car was advertised for sale as a Ladies' Porsche Continental with just 79, 000 miles and a "first prize winner" at the San Diego Car Show in 1989, 1990 and 1991. The Porsche subsequently returned to Europe. Here, following an initial but imperfect restoration, it was brought to absolutely pristine condition once more by Harald Hackenberg and finished in its original delivery specification. The current owner has invested well over half a million euros in this Porsche. We believe this 356 Cabriolet to be the finest Porsche Continental currently offered on the market.
