History:

Roland Hoart, a professional cyclist and a friend of Maurice Trintignan, decided to have his racing car built. A. Gordini, Maurice’s friend, knew of an English fibreglass bodywork (very lightweight) that was stored at Joseph Cattaneo’s garage (the first unofficial Ferrari dealer in Paris).

The first engine fit was with a supercharger. During tests on the Montlhéry circuit, the car proved undriveable, and it was not entered for the race.

In 1961, the engine was replaced with a 1100 Simca.

At the start of the 1970s, the car was stored in Grasse (06) with an Italian plumber... who bought the Simca in 1987 and brought it back to northern Italy when he retired.

The car has a standard French registration document, in my name.
