1943 Willys MB

For sale is a 1943 Jeep Willys MB, properly registered and in working order, in good general condition but requiring a straightforward restoration if you want to bring it back to original specification. After being registered on the civilian market in Milan on 28 September 1947 with registration plate MI 96972, this Jeep served for many years as a working vehicle for traders and craftsmen, and was even modified at the rear with the addition of a small tailgate; in 1967 it was re-registered in Milan where it obtained its current registration with plate MI E50137 and the logbook which remains valid. The chassis number is 50502247, officially stamped at the time of civilian registration (located at the front end of the left chassis rail; being a Willys MB, the numbering derives from the factory number impressed on a plate riveted to the chassis and subsequently removed) and is the one shown on the documents (logbook and certificate of ownership), body number 92233. The vehicle is currently still used in the countryside for collecting firewood and is in perfect working order as regards engine, gearbox, brakes and electrical system (modified for practicality with 12V voltage); the canvas top and side panels together with the metal support frame are also available.
