1949 Alvis TA 14 convertible

This is an Alvis TA 14 drophead convertible 1949, the bodywork was coach built by Carbodies, it has a four speed syncromesh gearbox driven by a 1890 cc four-cylinder overhead valve 13. 5 hp engine engine.

My late father left me his car in his will, we have reluctantly decided to offer it for sale. He acquired it in 2007 . It had two previous owners both ladies who had owned the car for 29 and 30 years. It has an oil filter and heater fitted from new which is apparently unusual.

The previous owners had a new roof fitted and repainted in 2000 in the same original understated Gray. My father had the front Seats restored and recovered in 2007 , mileage on the speedometer is correct.

My father was asked to do quite a few weddings with it.

There are a few spares that my father accumulated to go with it
