1949 Willys Jeep

Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/Austin is proud to present this 1949 Willys Jeepster, finished in a vibrant red exterior over a red and black interior. With its distinctive open-air design and unmistakable postwar styling, the Jeepster offers a driving experience centered around simplicity and enjoying the road.

Under the hood is an inline four-cylinder engine paired with a three-speed manual transmission. Settle into the driver's seat, take hold of the steering wheel, and work through the gears as you head out for an afternoon cruise. The manual transmission keeps the driver involved, bringing a hands-on element to each trip.

The manual convertible top allows you to open the cabin to the surroundings when the weather calls for it. Whitewall bias-ply tires paired with classic hubcaps complement the Jeepster's red exterior and contribute to its period-inspired appearance.

Inside, the red and black cabin continues the straightforward character of the Jeepster. With the top down, a scenic road ahead, and the inline-four working through the three-speed manual, this 1949 Willys Jeepster provides a distinctive way to experience a piece of postwar American motoring.
