The Sandgrau with the red leather interior and light brown hood give the car a beautiful 1950s look. This is one of the last Knickscheibe convertibles without the horn grilles, which makes this Porsche powerful in its simplicity and therefore highly coveted. In February 1954, the Porsche was registered by dealer Hoffman in New York. In the late 1980s, the car was restored in Italyë technically and in terms of bodywork extremely expertly. This can be seen, among other things, in the truly perfect fit of the panels. The 1,500 engine is of the correct type and is built to the correct specifications. In 2018, the interior and hood were restored according to Reutter's Farbmusterkarte (goes with the car) and minor imperfections were eliminated. The car is on EU registration and the Porsche birth certificate goes with it. This Porsche belongs to the first series of 356’s, the ‘Pre-A’, an (unofficialële) designation that arose because later the A-, B- and C-series were introduced.
