1961 MG A

1961 MGA 1600 Out of 60 Year Ownership

This 1961 MGA 1600 is a highly original car that's never been restored. Ready for a straightforward cosmetic recommissioning. Burgundy with black interior. Runs and drives. Out of 60 year ownership, the previous owner purchased the car in 1965. It has always been stored inside. The engine and gearbox have been overhauled. A new soft-top and side curtains (still in the box) are included. The older repaint is showing its age and requires attention. A good old car with a lot of potential. It wouldn't take much to bring this car up to a presentable driver quality level. Clad in a stylish aerodynamic body and capable of topping 100 mph in '1600' form. These quintessential British sports cars offer ample driving pleasure on the open road and make great entries into local rallies and club events. An exciting opportunity for the British sports car enthusiast.
